Description
𝙋𝙍𝙀𝙈𝙄𝙎𝙀 In the endgame of Myanmar’s civil war, the Myanmarese state sought to reverse its greatest loss: the northern highlands recognized as sovereign under the North East Federation. Viewing the region’s Judeo-Christianization and autonomy as the single most existential threat to its existence, Myanmar launched a short campaign, framing reconquest as moral restoration and national survival. 𝙊𝙐𝙏𝘾𝙊𝙈𝙀 Myanmar’s offensives collapsed, exposing the weakness of its post-junta order. The North East Federation counterattacked, seizing Shan State and accelerating the fragmentation of former Myanmar. The war ended any remaining claim to national unity and rectified the emergence of successor states, including Rakhine and Karenisia.
