Description

The Suppression Bureau, technically the 'United Nations Commission on Occult Threats' (UNCOT), though more commonly referred to by its other name, is a global organization dedicated to confiscating and censoring any materials related to the invisible arts and the existence of other histories, and apprehending any and all occult practitioners. Originally American, hence where it gets its vernacular name, the Bureau was expanded after the Three Days to include elements of both NATO, the Soviet Union's Obcestvo Beboznikov, and the Church's inquisition. The Bureau operates both above and within the law - with sweeping jurisdiction and the right to utilize occult materials for suppression activity in many countries around the world - although, still officially limited by the scope of international law and who has signed treaties relating to its existence - though, this has not stopped the Bureau from committing what some would deem crimes against humanity.
