The Early Roman Republic ₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪ The Hastati was the weakest geared of the Roman Consular Army, these were commonly the most unexperienced men and were usually placed upon the front lines of battle. This acted as both a test of fate for those who survived but also to weaken the enemy forces fronter lines so that the experienced troops could be used in reserve. Enlist Via Comms
