Description
Hawthorne: Reboot began in 2024 as a solo project with one sole developer. As of 2026, that expanded to a team of 15; all with the intentions of creating a highly detailed and realistic roleplaying experience. Our in-game roleplaying year is: 2010 Hawthorne was founded in the 1700's by a small community of settlers, led by a man named Jebediah Hawthorne. It's intial legacy was shaped by violence, militarization, geography and attrition. Hawthorne was primarily a mining town, until the 1898 mine collapse, which sealed tunnels, trapped miners and ended large gold mining all together. Hawthorne reflects a community shaped by legacy and secrets, history that never stays truly buried.
