"𝕶𝖊𝖊𝖕 𝖀𝖕 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕱𝖎𝖗𝖊" Info: The 9th Infantry Regiment did not officially exist yet had multiple iterations until it was re-organized in 1847 as a part of the 10 regiments in the one-year call for reinforcements. It served in multiple battles in the Mexican-American war, but is most known for it's part in the assault on Chapultepec in the Battle for Mexico City. After the war, the regiment would again be disbanded until 1855. Commanding Officer: N/A
