𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐂𝐈𝐎́𝐍 La Armada de Chile es una institución militar, que tiene como misión defender la soberanía e integridad territorial de Chile, así como contribuir al desarrollo nacional y a la acción del Estado. En períodos de paz, la Armada es necesaria para contribuir al desarrollo del poderío marítimo de Chile, brindando seguridad a la navegación, fomentando las actividades marítimas y el desarrollo portuario, manteniendo la cartografía y la señalización marítima, y efectuando inspecciones y vigilancia que otorguen seguridad a la vida humana en el mar.
