The Aurelian Republic #710620686
Description
The Aurelian Republic was born from a century of political collapse and an increasingly hostile rivalry with the neighboring Dacian Federation. At some point during this period, the Aurelian government began construction of what would become known simply as The Line, an enormous fortified frontier stretching across one of the Republic's most strategically important regions. Officially, The Line was constructed to protect something essential to the continued survival of Aurelia. What that actually means has never been made clear. Decades later, the frontier has grown into a vast complex of checkpoints, hydroelectric works, power stations, tunnels, military installations, and control centers operated by the Ministry of the Interior and defended by the Aurelian Defense Forces. Across the stretches of the frontier the Dacian Federation openly questions what Aurelia is hiding, while the 21st Dacian Volunteer Corps continually attempts to breach the frontier and sow chaos.
