𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝐚 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒍 𝑵𝒂𝒑𝒐𝒍𝒊 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨: Formed in 1809 from volunteers and conscripts from across the kingdom, it took part in the italian campaign of 1809, the Peninsular War between 1810 and 1811, and later on in Napoleon’s russian campaign of 1812. It along with the 5th and 7th Infantry Regiments were trapped and besieged at Danzig, waiting for help that would soon arrive.
