The Abercrwys Railway is a small, narrow gauge railway running from the port town of Abercrwys north into the mountains, where it helps to manage the movement of farmed and mined goods. The railway takes pride in its services, taking into account its well-kept steam locomotives, rolling stock, and rail line. The railway mostly handles the transport of coal, ballast, and slate from the mines, but on occasion handles goods from farms as well as a passenger service.
