Maryland and District of Columbia - Joint Air National Guard - 114th ANG Wing --------------- The Maryland-DC Air National Guard is the metropolitan Washington area’s first line of aerial defense and support. The MDCANG is responsible for air defense systems, military and governmental air logistics, and civilian support operations including search and rescue in the National Capital area. --------------- The group is open to all players, regardless of gender, skill, or age, and is a relaxed and fun experience. Few “tryouts” are conducted, leaving players to focus more on skill improvement as they go. --------------- Guardsmen can be placed in a specialized division of their choice, but can always participate in group-wide events. These divisions include: 122nd Fighter Squadron 201nd Airlift Squadron 175th Helicopter/Rescue Squadron Tryouts are not required. Military ranks (like Sergeant, Lieutenant, Airman) are given but generally do not determine roles of members More info soon
