Statе of Cаscadia #713771220
Description
The State of Cascadia was established along the far northwest interior of the present-day United States by settlers arriving from the Republic of Albion in August of 1786. The region that would become the State of Cascadia hosted human settlements as early as 1698, with exploratory groups from the Kingdom of Norland periodically founding trading posts throughout its river valleys and mountainous highlands. Cascadia was formally recognized as a state of the United States on 12 March 1794, following the consolidation of its territorial districts and the adoption of the Cascadian Provisional Constitution. The state encompasses an extensive range of natural environments, including expansive alpine ranges, dense evergreen forests, broad grassland basins, and major river systems that flow through the central plateau and carve deep canyons throughout the region. The state is seated in the City of Cascade Falls in the County of Riverwood.
