日本帝国自衛隊 | Imperial Japanese Self Defense Forces 詳細 | Information In the early Shōwa period, political instability was rampant, with two recent failed coup attempts. As the IJA went out of control, the civilian government adopted stricter laws that ensured the military stayed in place. However, all went wrong in 1943 when the army opened fire on protestors. Forces loyal to the Emperor and the civilian government launched numerous raids against the militarists, bringing stability to the country. On July 1, 1954, the military was reorganized into self-defense forces. JP: 昭和初期、政治的不安定が蔓延し、直近で二度のクーデター未遂事件が発生した。陸軍が制御不能に陥る中、文民政府は軍を統制下に置く厳格な法律を制定した。しかし1943年、軍が抗議者に対して発砲したことで事態は悪化した。天皇と文民政府に忠実な勢力は軍国主義者に対して数多くの襲撃を敢行し、国家に安定をもたらした。1954年7月1日、軍は再編され自衛隊となった。
