Description
Forged on February 28, 1861 in order to fight to preserve the Union of the collective states. The Union Army was made up of the permanent regular army of the United States, but further fortified, augmented, and strengthened by the many temporary units of dedicated volunteers as well as including those who were drafted in to service as conscripts. The Union eventually claimed victory over the Confederacy on April 9th, 1865, after the last Confederate army was surrendered by A Confederate General Our battles are meant to serve as an accurate representation of battles fought in the civil war, and are meant to give an organized and entertaining experience. The political and moral views of the Union and the Confederacy do not represent the views of the North and South group or its members.
