MTF는 재단의 업무로 보면 항상 최정예의 확보하고 격리하고 보호하는 부대가 있어야한다. 그래서 창설된 부대가 바로 기동특무부대이다. 기동특무부대는 재단에서의 SCP들을 재격리하는 역할과 재단을 적대 단체로 부터 보호하는 역할이다. MTF는 보안부에서 최고로 엄선된 엘리트들만 선발된다. 격리의 중심, 불가능은 없다. 충성, 보호, 단결
