2.ª 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚ñí𝐚 𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐳𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝟏𝟖𝟗𝟑 - 𝟏𝟗𝟎𝟒 𝐄𝐒𝐓. 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 23 2024 Cazadores were light infantry units in the Spanish Army, primarily trained for skirmishing, reconnaissance, and rapid maneuvering. Originating as elite hunters and marksmen, Cazadores specialized in flexibility and speed, often deployed in rough or mountainous terrain where traditional heavy infantry struggled. They were distinct from line infantry and typically employed to disrupt enemy lines, protect flanks, or engage in guerrilla-style tactics. These units were significant during Spain's conflicts in Cuba, Puerto Rico, and the Philippines, adapting to the demands of colonial warfare and counter-insurgency operations. 2.ª Compañía is composed of Filipinos, and other Asians in general.
