Description
The SPLM is the ruling party of South Sudan, being the political wing of the Sudan People's Liberation Army during the Second Sudanese Civil War until the nation's autonomy in 2005 and its subsequent independence from Sudan in 2011. The Juba faction is the largest faction of the party as the dominant force in South Sudanese politics. The SPLM adheres to no political ideology or doctrine but instead recognizes the observed reality of the New Sudan Vision. All peoples of the Sudan strive for the right to their own destinies while living in harmony with one another. The SPLM seeks to see to the New Sudan Vision internally in the Republic of South Sudan and eventually the entire Sudan including the Republic of Sudan. Its policy may be characterized as socially progressive and civic nationalist, as well as somewhat authoritarian. This group is not associated with its real life counterpart by association nor by belief. It is solely for the purpose of roleplay.
