Description
The Death Guard are a Chaos Space Marine Legion in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, dedicated to the Chaos God Nurgle. They are known for their Plague Marines abilities, which grant them resilience to disease and decay, allowing them to endure in battle despite being infected with various diseases. Their Primarch, Mortarion, was originally known as the Dusk Raiders before being renamed the Death Guard. The Death Guard are characterized by their bloated bodies and the presence of Nurgle's Gift, which infests their armor with decay and disease, making them immune to pain and minor injuries. They are known for their resilience and toughness, often using tactics that emphasize endurance and defense.
