Description

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police Emergency Response Team is a tactical unit established in 1977 which is a part of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the Federal Police Agency serving all of Canada with a small bit over 30,000 uniformed officers. It is a group of highly-trained RCMP members capable of employing specialized weapons, equipment, and tactics to resolve extremely high-risk situations, as well as assessing situation and the effectiveness of general duty RCMP officers in a situation.
