Description
The Royal Gurkha Rifles (RGR) is an elite British Army infantry regiment formed in 1994, but Gurkhas have served the UK since 1815. Made mainly of soldiers from Nepal, the regiment is known for its bravery, discipline, and the iconic kukri knife. RGR has two battalions (1 RGR and 2 RGR) and serves in roles such as light infantry, jungle warfare, and overseas operations. Their famous motto is “Better to die than to be a coward.”
