Asiana Airlines is a full-service airline based in Seoul, South Korea. It was founded in 1988 and grew to become the country’s second-largest airline after Korean Air. Its main hub is Incheon International Airport, with additional operations at Gimpo International Airport. Asiana operates domestic flights within South Korea and international routes across Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania. The airline has historically been known for strong onboard service, including complimentary meals and checked baggage on most routes. It is a member of the global airline alliance Star Alliance, allowing passengers to earn and use miles across partner airlines.
