Description
29th Regiment of Foot 'Worcestershire' Raised in 1689 by Colonel Farington, the 29th Regiment of Foot has seen a long history of combat experience, having cleansed several decisive British victories, one notably at Ramillies and honourably dispersing a violent crowd of protesters in Boston; 1770. Now assigned to the Peninsular front, they will doubtless show great courage and valor in their impetuous charges, bringing cold steel to bear upon the enemies of Britain. The regiment is composed of two autonomous companies; The 'Bromsgrove' company and the 'Redditch' company. Commander: Captain Patrick Buchard, Esq.
