Description
Upon this Battle depends the survival of British civilization. Upon it depends our own British Life and the long continuity of our institution and our empire. Though during the sight of the enemy must very soon be set on us. Our Enemy knows that they will have to break us in this Island or win the war. If we can stand up to them all of the conquered countries may be free, life in the world may move forward. But if we fail, then the whole world including the United States, including all we've known will sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age, made more sinister. Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties.- Sir Winston Spencer Churchill's Speech "Their Finest Hour"
