They sought to establish a military government that promoted militaristic and expansionistic ideals, and was largely supported by junior officers. They rivalled the moderate Tōseiha for influence in the army until the February 26 Incident in 1936, in which they staged a coup d'état against the government to make the Shōwa the supreme leader of Japan, and this led to their demise. However their ideals would continue to influence the Japanese Military during WW2. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝: 𝟔/𝟖/𝟐𝟎 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐬: 𝐍/𝐀 𝐄𝐫𝐚: 𝟏𝟗𝟐𝟎 -𝟏𝟗𝟑𝟔 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐬: 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 | 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝
