Description
The Antalon State Marshal's Office has its origins in the early 19th century, specifically 1829. With the growing civilian population, the governor of Antalon motioned Congress to establish a new federal judicial district. With that, there was now a federal district court for the territory of Antalon and a United States Marshal assigned to Antalon. When the Soviet Union took over the islands, the Marshal's Office was abolished. Only when Antalon gained independence did it re-establish the office, now referred to as State Marshal's Office. The State Marshal and his deputies are tasked with protecting all federal buildings and enforcing the court's legal will through subpoenas, warrants, writs, court orders, and judgments. They also handle high-risk prisoner transport, and assist other law enforcement in the enforcement of high-risk search and arrest warrants.
