Description
The Imperial Japanese Marine Corps operates underneath the authority of the Ministry of the Navy, and serves as the primary land force of the Imperial Japanese Navy. They are a highly-trained force, and they are responsible for the defense of many Japanese naval and shore-based facilities. In addition, they are also tasked with carrying out amphibious combat operations on behalf of the Empire. Enlistment in the Marine Corps is highly encouraged, as all Marines will be granted Imperial citizenship upon entry!
