The regime implemented scientific socialism under the Somali Revolutionary Socialist Party (SRSP), centralizing political power, controlling the military, police, and legislature, and limiting opposition. A nominal People’s Assembly existed, but it primarily endorsed decisions of the party and President. The government emphasized national unity, modernization, and literacy campaigns, while suppressing dissent. ๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬๑
