Description

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬First Mountain Troops Division▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The first apparition of this division was back in 1916 during the Romanian Offensive in Transylvania against Austro Hungary. Their discipline and multiple victories in Transylvania gave them the "elite" status of the Romanian Army. During WW2 this division was the most prestigious within the Romanian Army, they fought at Odessa, Stalingrad, Don River, and Caucasian Region. It is told that during the retreat from Stalingrad, this division was able to move 3 heavy artillery pieces during the night, using only 4 donkeys and without being detected by the Russians. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
