Description
The Galactic Empire was originally The Galactic Republic, but with the Jedi turning against the Republic- the Supreme Chancellor took it upon himself to save the Galaxy from immense destruction from the Jedi Order. As it stands, The Galactic Empire was the government that replaced the Galactic Republic in the aftermath of the Clone Wars with its core motives being to ensure the security and overall stability of the planets under the influence of the Empire.
