Description
When the Austro-Hungarian Empire collapsed under the Shattering, its throne and crown perished with it. Vienna burned, Budapest starved, and famine choked the heart of Mitteleuropa. Yet along the Danube, the river of life and unity, fortress-cities endured. From this crucible emerged the Confederation of the Danube, no longer an empire but a league bound by steel, scripture, and survival.
