𝐀𝐘𝐘𝐔𝐁𝐈𝐃 The Ayyubid dynasty was a Muslim dynasty of Kurdish origin, founded by Salahuddin and centered in Egypt. The dynasty ruled much of the Middle East during the 12th and 13th centuries, where they were able to conquer most of modern-day Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Palestine, and parts of Libya. They were by far one of the largest centralized Sultanates in the region, even having the power to contest the Seljuk Turks.
