Description
Godfrey's Fist was raised in 258 AE by Roderick Tyding, son of Godfrey Tyding. This mercenary company is recruited from Traoan exiles from House Tyding who made it to Yalnar with Godfrey Tyding and from Yalnaric warriors along lines of kinship/kindred and sworn men/oath-bound men, some of whom had served Roderick earlier in his military career prior to 258 AE. Their goal is to reclaim House Tyding's old lands back in Eastern Traor, return the family back to noble status, claim its old title of Grand Admiral of the Grand Royal Navy, and become masters of the Ulian Ocean and its adjacent waters. The company, despite hailing from the eastern coast of Yalnar, wears Galerithian gear made by Yalnaric smithies and weavers who were trained by Godfrey Tyding and other Tyding exiles from Traor. Their armor and tabards are black, bearing a sigil of a silver armored fist. Motto: Godfrey’s Oath, Tyding’s Glory
