The Directorate for Irregular Security & Research (D.I.S.R.) is a classified U.S. government agency tasked with identifying and containing, as well as studying anomalous threats that defy science or logic. Established under a joint U.S. Department of Homeland Security & Department of Defense directive in the early 1960s, D.I.S.R. operates as a black-budget division used for classified operations located in Colorado.
