The 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 (𝗖𝗦𝗔) is the federal agency responsible for coordinating Canada’s civil space program and advancing space science, technology, and exploration. The Agency supports innovation, national sovereignty, and international collaboration in space-based research and infrastructure. The Agency leads satellite development, space robotics, Earth observation, and astronaut training while supporting scientific research and commercial space initiatives. The CSA operates under the Canadian Space Agency Act, defining its mandate and responsibilities which include: • Space science and exploration • Satellite and remote sensing programs • Space technology development • International space cooperation
