Description
We Are the Soviet Union. (USSR) Russia was the country to declare itself socialist and build towards a communist society. The Soviet Union was a world superpower that helped to shape and define almost the whole century. The Soviet Union formed out of the ashes of War , was a victor of War and went on to challenge the United States as a world superpower during the Cold War. And Yes, We did win the Cold War. The Soviet Union had its origins in the Russian Revolution Radical leftist revolutionaries overthrew Russia, ending centuries of rule. The Bolsheviks established a socialist state in the territory that was once the Russian Empire. A long and bloody civil war followed. The Red Army, backed by the Bolshevik government, defeated the White Army.
