8. Leib Infаnterie Regiment #7457038
Description
Formed in 1808 alongside of the 9. Infanterie regiment, the Leib Infantry owes it's existence to the Jena campaign. Being one of the few remaining Infantry units to survive the war of 1806-1807, the Leib Infantry carry high honours among her peers. The 8. would go on to fight in six battles during the Wars of Liberation with distinction.
