Description
The Appellate Tribunal operates under the Office of the Ombudsman and is led by the Ombudsman. Located next to its sister department, Internal Affairs, the Appellate Tribunal acts as a mediation body to resolve employee disputes before they escalate. Established to ensure the welfare of Agency members, the Tribunal is responsible for maintaining a healthy work environment, issuing Agency performance conducts and, most importantly, mediating interpersonal issues within the Agency. This mediation process can involve actively interfering in interpersonal disputes in chats or shifts, or answering employee reports in tickets. In addition to mediation, members of the Appellate Tribunal are also responsible for recruitment at the Naramo Nuclear Power Plant, with the aim of ensuring the presence of the NLA and recruiting new and active employees for the Agency.
