ጃን አሞራ Gan Amxra is one of the Chewa regiments of Ethiopia. It hails from the north, near the Tigray region, and it was founded prior to the Solomonic dynasty. Back then, it was mainly a defense force for the emperor, however in the modern day it served the purpose of a light infantry/harassment unit. These men were notably seen crouching through tall grass for hours on end just to snipe at Italian units in their camp without being seen.
