Description
Taskforce 1-1 originated under NOVA Research Corporation, first appearing in 1914 at Site 006 as an experimental unit derived from the elite NTSH taskforce. Enhanced with paranormal serums and biological modifications, they quickly became known for their exceptional combat capability. During the invasion by TND forces and the Red Wolves mercenary group, NOVA facilities—including Site 006, Area-11 Glacier, and Area-01—suffered catastrophic losses. Taskforce 1-1 was deployed elsewhere at the time, leaving NOVA defenseless. In desperation, NOVA initiated a self-destruct protocol, using illicit nuclear warheads to erase all sites and prevent sensitive data from falling into enemy hands—effectively ending the corporation. By 2019, SCP Foundation operatives surveying the ruins discovered surviving Taskforce 1-1 members in caves near Area-11 Glacier. They were subsequently recruited and reinstated into active duty under Foundation command.
