Description
Overview The Order of the First Light is a clandestine humanitarian resistance organization, founded to oppose the Erebrus Containment Institute (ECI) and liberate anomalies from its brutal control. Where Erebrus enforces domination through containment, torture, and execution, the Order believes in understanding, coexisting with, and protecting anomalous entities, especially those possessing sentience or emotional capacity. To the Institute, the Order is a terrorist faction. To those rescued, it is salvation. The Order of the First Light sees itself not as rebels or revolutionaries, but as caretakers of the unseen — those beings imprisoned, silenced, and annihilated under Erebrus’s iron regime. Many of its founding members are ex-ECI agents, researchers, or defectors, united by guilt and purpose.
