Weathered Frontier (1915 - 1919) Year of our Lord, 1915 As Europe is burning with the ongoing War, the American Frontier takes its final breaths. The wide plains that once echoed with the thunder of hooves now fall silent beneath the steady march of progress. Telegraph wires stretch like iron vines across the land. The old ways are fading. The cavalry patrols that once guarded lonely outposts. Dusty border towns, once wild and unpredictable, find themselves under the shadow of modernity—lawmen now wear crisp uniforms instead of weathered dusters, and Ford motorcars begin to challenge the horse’s dominion over the open road. In the unsettled corners of New Mexico, the embers of the frontier still glow. Outlaws, revolutionaries, and soldiers of fortune stalk the borderlands, caught between the dying age of the gunfighter and the birth of a new mechanized world. Luna County, New Mexico.
