FOUNDING OF THE RAVEN MERCENARY ALLIANCE (1687 A.D.) The Raven Mercenary Alliance was founded in 1687 by Eastern European mercenary officers and criminal financiers who united after repeated contract disputes and unpaid campaigns left their companies weakened. They formed a mutual pact to share intelligence, enforce payment collectively, and protect one another from political betrayal. Bringing together mercenaries, assassins, and smugglers under a structured hierarchy, the Alliance sought financial independence and strategic security. They expanded into the North Atlantic, settling on islands near what is known as Quebec. Outposts we're established, and became military bases, supply depots, and prisons, securing their territorial claims and allowing the Alliance to operate as a coordinated, self-sustaining power independent of any crown. - NORTHWIND FACTION -
