Description
Legnano è un comune della città metropolitana di Milano, situato nella regione Lombardia. La città, nota per la storica Battaglia di Legnano del 1176 e per il tradizionale Palio che la commemora ogni anno dal 1935, conta circa 60.679 abitanti ed è amministrata dal sindaco Lorenzo Radice. Situata a 199 metri s.l.m. sul fiume Olona, la città è un importante centro industriale e culturale, famosa anche per i percorsi verdi del Parco dei Mulini e per aver ospitato storiche aziende come la Cotonificio Cantoni e la FIAL. Il santo patrono è San Magno, la cui festa si celebra il 5 novembre, e il territorio si estende per 17,56 km² con una densità abitativa di circa 3.456 abitanti per km².
