Description
The Twenty-First Rapax Legion ■▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬■ The Twenty-First Legion, known as Legio XXI Rapax, was raised in 41 BC by Octavian during the Roman civil wars. The legion took its name, Rapax—“Predatory” or “Seizing”—from its fierce reputation in battle. It served across Gaul, Germania, and the Danube frontier, taking part in some of Rome’s most important campaigns. The legion was particularly renowned for its aggression and battlefield discipline, but its history ultimately ended in 92 AD, when it was destroyed during the revolt of Saturninus on the Rhine frontier. To enlist in the legion, you must pass an entry test conducted by an officer or nco of the Twenty-First. ■▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬■
