Description
𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐟𝐲𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐢 | 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚 "Hoplites of pride and honor." The Politofylaki, or also referred to as the "Provincial Militia", are the provincial hoplitai of the Macedonian empire. The hoplitai of the Politofylaki are the most versatile and adapting unit in all of antiquity, and are stationed on the left side of the Pezhetairoi in the Macedonian battle formation. These provincials seek out to achieve citizenship and combat prestige, and are often sung about in legend and in tales. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 Seek out an Enotarchai Hoplitai to enlist into the Politofylaki.
