The Berkshire family is an aristocratic family that dates back to the 1200s. John Berkshire, who was already in nobility thanks to his grandfather who was in parliament, invested in coal mines across lower England. Soon the family had made millions and decided to invest in more mines across the country. Soon they had invested in mines across the world and even invested in mines as far away as Mid-Western United states. The family often goes on voyages to visit mines they are investing in.
