The brand is known for its classic hype-wear silhouettes that pull inspiration from pre-1960s American culture. Tomoaki Nagao who previously founded A Bathing Ape (Bape), is one of the most well-known designers in the streetwear industry and is often referred to as being the first to merge the worlds of high fashion and streetwear. The brand started as Tomoaki Nagao wanted to create pieces that personally resonated with him and his personal style that he wasn't able to at Bape. Human Made is easily recognizable by their iconic logos of a heart, duck and storm cowboy.
