Operating under Imperial Intelligence, they served as protective details and bodyguards for significant Imperial officers, as well as special-assignment commandos. Death troopers were trained in unarmed combat, heavy weapons, demolitions, improvised weaponry, guerrilla warfare, and marksmanship.
