12. Botta Linieninfanterie The 12. Botta Linieninfanterie or 12th Botta Line Infantry was a regiment mustered into service in 1702. Made up of men from Wolfenbüttel and Hanover, they were originally to form 2 regiments. However, during their march to Austria, and the battles they fought, the men were eventually formed into a single regiment.
