24. Starhemberg Linieninfanterie The 24. Starhemberg Linieninfanterie or 24th Starhemberg Line Infantry was created in the early 1600s to oppose Swedish invasions of the German coastline. This regiment's first battalion was the first Austrian soldiers to come into conflict with the Prussians during the Seven Year's war.
