2nd "Sofia" Infantry Regiment ₪▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬๑♔๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬₪ The 2nd Infantry Regiment was founded in 1811 and defended Smolensk in 1812 during the French invasion, and since then the Regiment's Garrison have been located in the city.
